Reiki for dogs is very popular among the canine population! In fact Reiki is popular to use for the benefit of all our pets and animals.
It takes a special touch to be a Reiki Practitioner for Pets and Animals
Not everyone can do it. Genuine pet lovers who have a caring touch and a listening heart, have the ability to communicate with animals of all sizes.
As an animal communicator they have the ability to listen to what the animal is telling them in order to assist your pet in recovering or for proactive wellness care, for behavioural issues and more.
Animals of all types, have been part of Jan's life for 50+ years.
Horses, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, cows, mice, gerbils, hamsters and birds. As a Dog Breeder of Irish Setters and Golden Retrievers, animal communication was critical in the success of a healthy mom and puppies.
Jan had the privilege of working with an amazing veterinarian many years ago which opened up a communication channel with animals that has helped her help others over the years.
During a Reiki session with your pet, the primary goal is the comfort of the animal during the Reiki session.
Reiki for dogs and cats has become very popular as well as Equine Reiki for our equine partners.
Responding to Energy
Animals respond very well to Reiki as they have an innate understanding of energy and find it very soothing. Your entire family, pets included, can benefit!
If you haven't tried Reiki yourself, Jan highly recommends it before booking an appointment for your pet. Only when you experience the benefits will you realize how helpful it is for your fur baby!
As a Registered Reiki Master -Teacher, Jan also teaches Reiki so you can offer Reiki to your pets at anytime...as well as to yourself and your family members and your family members.
Raindrop Technique combines soothing, relaxing and pleasurable massage-like techniques with essential oils to create an effect that is great than either alone.
Prescribed essential oils are dispensed like drops of rain from a height of about 6" from the spine. Starting from the lower spine, the oils are feathers with the back of the fingers up along the vertebra, out over the back muscles and over the shoulders to the neck.
On little pets it takes about 20 minutes and up to 40 minutes for larger animals like horses. The oils continue to work for several days as balancing and realignment occurs.
The technique an help to alleviate pain symptoms, ease inflammation, calm an animal and soothe its anxiety.
The oils used in a standard Raindrop Technique are usually Valor, Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, and Peppermint. Only 100% pure, therapeutic essential oils are used.
Many animals respond to balancing.
Why should I give my pet a Raindrop? The answer is, "Why Not?" it is highly recommended you have a Raindrop yourself so you can experience the amazing results.
Dogs in competitions, hunting dogs, herding dogs, elder dogs...all dogs, can benefit from a Raindrop.
Our dogs love their Raindrops - yours will too!
To see how a Raindrop is performed on small animals like dogs and cats, attend a Raindrop Demo.
